Community

Students have been extra creative in developing programming and events that serve the needs of our community in pandemic. Last month, one of our student staff members, Elizabeth, organized and hosted a “Valentines for Our Neighbors” event aimed at sharing some love with our community members in nursing facilities. She made connections with a nearby facility and rallied the Wesley community to make over 80 valentines! Students enjoyed crafting together (over Zoom) and we hope that our efforts brought a bit a cheer to our neighbors who have been isolated for some time during pandemic.
